Agon Nixha is a Senior Consultant at Novus Consulting. His responsibilities involve project management, business development, strategic planning, feasibility studies, statistical analysis, institutional assessment, and bid preparation. Previously, Agon worked for Riinvest Institute as an Advanced Researcher, where he has been involved in various projects of socio-economic nature. During his engagement at Riinvest Institute, Agon has led projects related to: business climate, open governance, corporate governance in family businesses, indicators of economic activity, and energy potentials in the country. In addition, he was engaged in projects on informality, development of the processed fruit and vegetables, and industrial policy. Besides research at the Riinvest Institute, he was also engaged as a Lecturer at the Riinvest College, lecturing Microeconomics II, Entrepreneurship, and Money and Banks. His work experience also includes consultancy services with the World Bank, UNDP and OECD.
Agon holds a master’s degree from University College London, with a focus on economics and comparative politics in transition economies. He completed his undergraduate studies at the American University in Kosovo, which is in partnership with Rochester Institute of Technology. The focus of undergraduate studies was on economics and management.
