Madalina Bisog is a Project Manager at Novus Consulting. Madalina worked in project management and implementation in South-East Europe and Africa for more than 6 years, out of which 3 years in international development for organizations such as the European Union, the US Agency for International Development and the Swiss Development Cooperation Office. While at the EU Office in Kosovo, Ms. Bisog supervised the implementation of economic development projects and assisted in managing the operating grants contracts for the Regional Development Agencies, and later was engaged as expert in several EU-funded projects. She has also managed several donor-funded projects, from inception to completion, coordinating teams of international and local experts and has solid experience in Making Markets Work for the Poor (M4P) approach and development of inclusive markets. Previously, Ms Bisog has worked as project manager in Romania, overseeing the implementation of infrastructure projects.
Ms. Bisog is a passionate humanitarian and advocate of grassroots activities responsive to the immediate needs of communities, who has worked towards improving the lives of the most vulnerable by actively engaging with relief organizations, both at home and abroad. She is a graduate of the AIC University in Romania with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master’s Degree in Management of Organizations.
